This is a great adapter for the recent iotter box ipad cases and otter box ipad casesbooks...Don't get confused between miniDVI and mini Display cord...this is for mini Display port. I used to pay about 50 dollars for a miniDVI adapter for my old iotter box ipad cases(mid 2007, the first Aluminum iotter box ipad cases)...then I just bought a new iotter box ipad cases(mid2010)...then I realized the mini port for external display has been updated and the Apple's authentic adapter costs about $30-40ish...Even though cheaper adapters made in China seems to be broken or a bit of pict

I travel constantly for work, so bought a few of these - one to live in the suitcase, one to have in the office, and a couple of spares. Personnally I don't know why apple still sells the earphones without the remote and mic, these are everything that the normal ones are, plus the microphone and remote. The mic is very clear, and the remote is invaluable if you keep your otter box ipad cases in your pocket.

This product is the best Otterbox Defender case that I have come across. It protects the iphone3g from falls and scratches. It came with a matching swivel case that is well constructed. I have dropped my iphone several times and it is still working perfectly. This product is a steal at under $30.
