I got these for christmas along with my new otterbox for ipod 4th generation nano. I use them all the time and coordinate the colors with my outfit. But besides all this, whats the point? In order to use your otterbox for ipod 4th generation you have to take it out of the sock, adjust the sound, song, etc., then put it back in the sock and stuff it in your pocket or purse, where nobody can see it!!! I think it's just easier to keep it in your pocket.

I recommend you save a little more and buy the new one. If you buy the new one you will be able to likely be able to get full upgrades up until IOS8.something, but if you get the 1st Gen they will likely stop upgrading at 6.something. Just look how many iOs devices aren't getting 4.3.
