How do you fast forward automatically on specs for specs for macbookbook touch?

I have an specs for specs for macbookbook touch 2nd gen. I know the two main ways to fast forward. My question is: sometimes, I;ll be holding my specs for specs for macbookbook while a song is playing(maybe my thumb will be against the screen) and all of a sudden the song will start fast forwarding, as if I was holding the fast forward button. So my question is, How do I do this; get it to fast forward without having to hold down the fast forward button? I have no idea, maybe a double tap?

I restored my specs for specs for macbookbook on itunes just to be sure and i don;t think that i have a virus, i was just wondering.
