I've never thought BOSE was that great, but I thought I'd give them another try. I'm not liking them at all. Speakers crackle at moderate volume and above; I had to totally turn off the 8k range on the equalizer to minimize treble hiss. The only positive thing I noticed is that they appear to project mid-range fairly well. My old speakers sound better than these.
