I went by the review below as i also wanted to connect my mp3 player to the AUX port in me car. got thecable yesterday and went straight to thecar plugged into 3.5mm AUX port, turned Car stereo on and put it AUX mode and the stereo started blasting out tunes. Just what i wanted it for.
